To open Government e-mail only the Username and Password are not enough. A mobile authentication application is required to install in your mobile. Here we will discuss how to Fix Device Limit Exceeded in KAVACH Authentication App.

Often many of Govt. Officials are facing error message while installing the KAVACH Authentication App in mobile as follows:
1.YOUR LICENSE IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH . . . then
Sign normally with Username and Password without KAVACH authentication app.2.YOUR DEVICE LIMIT EXCEEDED - Follow the below steps to resolve:
Step-1. Ensure the network of the Mobile having the number associated with your Govt. Mail-ID and internet connectivity of the Desktop Computer where you want to open your Govt. E-Mail.
Step-2. Open the link https://kavach.mail.gov.in in your Desktop or Laptop through any of the browser like Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge etc.
Step-3. A pop-up for Secure User Login will appear. Enter the Username and Password then click on Login.
Step-4. System will send ‘OTP’ to your mobile which required to Validate. Next, The KAVACH Authentication Application will open with Dashboard option in left side and showing detail of token detail in right side of the screen.
Step-5. Click the ‘Manage Activated Device’ in left side under the Dashboard options to list all the activated device in right side of the screen.
Step-2. Open the link https://kavach.mail.gov.in in your Desktop or Laptop through any of the browser like Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge etc.
Step-3. A pop-up for Secure User Login will appear. Enter the Username and Password then click on Login.
Step-4. System will send ‘OTP’ to your mobile which required to Validate. Next, The KAVACH Authentication Application will open with Dashboard option in left side and showing detail of token detail in right side of the screen.
Step-5. Click the ‘Manage Activated Device’ in left side under the Dashboard options to list all the activated device in right side of the screen.

Select all the check boxes of the listed devices and click De-Register option.
Step-6. Confirm on confirmation message to De-Register – Yes.
Step-7. Find and click LOGOUT option in the right top.
3.INSTALL KAVACH AUTHENTICATION APP IN YOUR MOBILE:
Step-1. Uninstall or remove the existing KAVACH App icon in your mobile and then Install a fresh KAVACH Authentication App from play store.
Step-2. Search and Install fresh KAVACH Authentication App in your mobile through Play Store.
Step-3. Allow all the notification appeared.
Step-4. Open the KAVACH App in your mobile,
Step-5. Enter Govt. e-Mail ID as Username and Password
Step-6. Click check box below for accepting the agreement,
Step-7. Allow auto fill up OTP will installed KAVACH successfully and start displaying Numbers which auto changes after every 30 Seconds.
Now your KAVACH App is successfully installed in your mobile.
Step-2. Search and Install fresh KAVACH Authentication App in your mobile through Play Store.
Step-3. Allow all the notification appeared.
Step-4. Open the KAVACH App in your mobile,
Step-5. Enter Govt. e-Mail ID as Username and Password
Step-6. Click check box below for accepting the agreement,
Step-7. Allow auto fill up OTP will installed KAVACH successfully and start displaying Numbers which auto changes after every 30 Seconds.
Now your KAVACH App is successfully installed in your mobile.
4.NOW OPEN YOUR GOVT. E-MAIL
Step-1. Open the portal https://email.gov.in/ in your Desktop Computer.
Step-2. Enter E-Mail ID as Username.
Step-3. Enter Password.
Step-4. Click on Sign In button.
A notification will appear in your Mobile with the options to Accept or Deny.
Step-5. Press Accept in your mobile, automatically your e-Mail will open in your Desktop Computer.
Or
Open the portal https://email.gov.in/ in your Desktop Computer.
Step-1. Enter E-Mail ID as Username.
Step-2. Enter Password along with the Numbers displaying in KAVACH App of your mobile.
Step-3. Click on Sign In button, your e-Mail will open in your Desktop Computer.

Step-4. Click on Sign In button.
A notification will appear in your Mobile with the options to Accept or Deny.
